Emeryville,
CA Nady Systems has announced the addition of the CBM 40
boundary microphone to its selection of specialty-use condenser mics. The
CBM 40 joins the C Series Condenser mics array that includes the
CM 88 (designed for cymbals, reeds and other musical amplification),
the CM 55 (a clip-on intended for string instruments and drums),
and the CM 90 (perfect for recording and stage reinforcement of acoustic
guitar, drum, overheads, percussion and piano.) The CBM 40 is a versatile
back electret condenser boundary microphone designed for use with choirs,
orchestras, theatre stages and a host of other applications, both innovative
and practical. The CBM 40 is suitable for sound reinforcement and
recording in courtrooms, boardrooms, corporate meetings and presentations,
public meetings, or even inside kick drums. The CBM 40 features rugged die-cast alloy housing on rubber padding to minimize mechanical coupling of surface vibrations to the microphone, uni-directional pickup pattern and full frequency response of 50 Hz to 18KHz to produce top audio at any distance from the source with excellent feedback rejection, and it is 9-52V phantom powered. The CBM 40 is both rugged and affordable, making it a strong addition to any assortment of microphones that requires functionality and versatility.
