Emeryville, CA — Nady Audio recently announced the introduction
of the PCM Series, a new line of professional microphones. Both the PCM-100
condenser microphone and and the PCM-200 dynamic microphone feature
a classic, retro-style look and advanced, state-of-the-art acoustic design.
Both are versatile performers, perfect for broadcasting, stage vocal and
instrument use, and a multitude of studio and recording applications. The PCM-100 features a high-quality electret condenser element, cardioid polar pattern, smooth-tailored frequency response, vivid vocal reproduction with characteristic presence peak, and a switchable low-cut filter. The PCM-200 features a cardioid pickup pattern to reduce feedback during live applications and a transparent tailored sound with presence peak for distinct lifelike vocals. "Our new PCM mics combine classic features with truly state-of-the-art technology," commented John Nady, President of Nady Systems. "These mics offer great value and excellent performance and we expect them to be a popular addition to our existing line of professional microphones."
