NADY SYSTEMS INTRODUCES
NEW MOTORCYCLE COMMUNICATOR

Emeryville, CA--Nady Systems, well known since 1983 for their innovative line of electronic motorcycle accessories, recently introduced a new two-way radio communicator, the MRC-11. The MRC-11 allows bike-to-bike and driver-to-passenger communication while on the road. Designed with special features for motorcycle use, the MRC-11 can also be used with snowmobiles and for other helmet/hard hat applications.

Nady's advanced technology allows clear, convenient, interference-free communication while promoting safety on the road. Because the MRC-11 operates with higher power on the new, uncluttered UHF FRS (U.S.) or PMR (Europe) frequencies, range is up to 2 miles (depending on the terrain), without interference. Innovative features include: PTT (push to talk) or automatic voice-activated operation; built-in driver-passenger intercom; special in-helmet mount, noise-canceling/wind-blocking headset; choice of 14 (FRS) or 8 (PMR) channels and 38 privacy (lockout) codes per channel; auxiliary stereo input allowing driver and passenger to listen to CDs, tape players, or other external music sources. Radio communication is simplex, allowing any number of users to converse on a one-at-a-time basis; the intercom mode is duplex, allowing simultaneous driver-passenger conversation.

As an added unique feature, the Nady MRC-11 also doubles as a conventional handheld FRS (or PMR) radio transceiver (with or without headsets) for non-motorcycle communication.

The MRC-11 began shipping in August 2000.
